Managing Challenging Behaviors in Dementia Patients

The goal of this study, known as the Dementia Behavior study, is to evaluate ways of helping families address challenging behaviors, such as agitation, aggression, anxiety, depression and sleep disturbances, in persons with dementia who are living at home.

This is a randomized controlled trial. Approximately 250 caregivers of dementia patients living in the greater Baltimore area will be enrolled.
