Dietary Treatment in Patients with Memory Problems and Diabetes or Pre-diabetes

Principal Investigator: Paul Rosenberg, M.D.

The goal of this study is to determine if a dietary supplement can reduce memory decline in patients with mild memory problems and diabetes (or pre-diabetes). The dietary supplement is known as bioactive dietary polyphenol, which contains naturally occurring chemicals found in foods such as fruits, some types of grain, wine, and tea. Participants in the study will be given either the supplement or a placebo (sugar pill) for 4 months, and will be evaluated monthly.
